Watertown Savings Bank marketing team was looking to start new online initiatives and better connect with the community, but their outdated website was slowing the process and limiting marketing team efforts. They needed a strong and flexible Content Management System they could easily manage on their own and rely on to grow their business.
They came to WDB knowing we could help them create a custom user-friendly experience that would make it easier for potential and current customers to find what they need on the front-end and make it easier on their team to make changes in the backend. They wanted a more organized digital online presence designed to lead visitors down a clear path to take action.
To better understand how to organize the website, we started with discovery process and interviewed Watertown Savings Bank’s customers and leadership team to understand what worked and what needed to be changed to allow future growth. During the design process, we focused on simplicity. It was important that the digital website presence be an easy place for current and potential customers to find the information they need.
During the development process, simplicity was still our focus and we created an efficient workflow so the marketing team could spend more time focusing of growth and less time trying to hack into their own website. We developed the website to seamlessly integrate with number of marketing tools and 3rd party login systems. We also developed learning and community Club 50, careers and news portals to improve communication and streamline marketing efforts.
